Polar Lights Tours – Experiences and Accommodation in Levi and PosioPolar Lights Tours is a family-owned activity company based in Finnish Lapland. We operate in two unique destinations: near Levi and in Posio.Our roots lie in a traditional horse and sled dog farm, where guests can discover the animals’ everyday lives and stories through our experiences and activities. We offer memorable experiences throughout the year, as well as comfortable accommodation surrounded by the beautiful nature of Lapland.

Levi – Experiences and Adventures

At our Levi location, huskies, Finnish horses and reindeer take you on unforgettable adventures through the northern landscapes. In winter, you can experience an authentic sled dog or reindeer safari, while in summer you can set off on a husky hiking adventure or explore the wilderness on horseback with a Finnish horse.

For groups, we also arrange private dining experiences upon request.

Posio – Stay in the Peace of Nature

At Lehtiniemi in Posio, you can stay by the lake, surrounded by peaceful and unspoilt nature. Accommodation is available in a cosy, beautifully renovated former schoolhouse, with powered caravan pitches as well as space for tents and hammocks.

Guests can enjoy a traditional lakeside sauna, fireplace lounge, library and other essential amenities.

From Posio, it is easy to explore the spectacular landscapes of Riisitunturi and Korouoma, or discover the region’s local culture, including the Pentik Ceramics Centre. We also offer a range of outdoor activities, including fishing and canoe trips, E-fatbike rentals and snowshoeing with sliding snowshoes.

Northern Lights Nights and Wilderness Accommodation

For a truly memorable stay, you can also spend the night at our Revontulikämpät wilderness cabins near Levi, offering a wonderful setting for enjoying the night sky and, when conditions are right, the Northern Lights.

Each stay includes an evening snack and breakfast featuring local Lapland delicacies.

Our Levi location also has a small caravan area with five powered pitches, as well as plenty of space for tent camping.
