Ranua Resort is a year-round Arctic nature experience where wildlife, accommodation and northern experiences come together in a peaceful natural setting. At the heart of the resort is the Arctic Wildlife Park, home to around 50 Arctic and northern animal species and best known for Finland’s only polar bears. Opened in 1983, the wildlife park offers visitors the opportunity to observe Arctic wildlife throughout the seasons, from snowy winter days to the bright light of the midnight sun.Set in a calm environment with plenty of space to relax, Ranua Resort makes it easy to combine a wildlife park visit with accommodation, dining and activities. Guests can stay in Arctic Glass Igloos on the serene shores of Lake Ranuanjärvi or in cosy Holiday Villas near the wildlife park.
