Matka for Professionals

The international tourism year’s opening event, Matka, held in Helsinki, brings together tourism professionals and key decision-makers from companies operating in the travel environment.

The event offers an opportunity to network, delve into the world of travel and business travel, and discover innovations and services that make the travel environment more efficient and sustainable.

The trade fair for professionals includes a dedicated exhibition day on Thursday, 16th January 2025, various special areas, the Travel Information Seminar organised in collaboration with the Association of Finnish Travel Industry (SMAL), and an After Work event open to all on the opening evening.

The Matka fair is also open to tourism professionals throughout the event from Friday to Sunday, 17th–19th January 2025.

As a professional or student in the field, you can visit the Matka fair free of charge on any of the event days by registering in advance.
